At what age are you forbidden to buy stuff from O'Neil and Hollister?

Wandering back from the dentist, I deceided to pop in and have a look at the clothes in teh Churchill Square shop.

It looked very nice but I felt like I was being humoured when I asked in Hollister if they had any XL polo shirts (with the small albion logo on it). This fabulous looking young lady pointed me in the direction of the corner of the shop...AND IT WAS DARK!!! I couldnt read the labels and she had to help me out!

ONeil had nice stuff, but all the pictures up were young aussie beach bums!

Does any other old codgers on here get intimidated when going in these places?

Dave don't get intimidated, just take a torch. I am 58 and usually get some stuff in Fat Face better gear and better prices!

I find the smell in that shop nauseating - its almost like the pump it in the store to try and drug you into buying their overpriced shit!

Saying that I have bought a couple of hoodies and tee shirts for my son in there but its difficult to see in there - think its to stop you seeing the price!

Store space:
ground floor, in total, Female clothes
1St Floor, half Childrens clothes and humourous 'gifts'
The rest: Mens wear..........potentially less that a 1/3rd of the overall floorspace

Maybe not the shop mentioned but, 90% of them big stores

I didn't know what Hollister was until I met a guy in Thailand with the shirt with a seagull on. Being me, I went up to have a chat with him to then find out what Hollister was and at the same time found out his girlfriend was a Palace fan.. Fairly embarrassing on my part.
I usually stick to Sports Direct, plenty of smart/casual gear at all sizes very well priced.

Use to go out with a girl who use to work in hollister. Safe to say she was stuck up and thought she was some California model girl. She was attractive, but that was all she had. Didn't last long.

Not bad clothes, awful shop!

I swear they play a practical joke by saying stuff from a dark corner and seeing how long it takes you to find where the noise came from..

I've never been into this Hollister, but from what people are saying about the in your face, falsely friendly assistants and the dark atmos, it sounds like a version of hell but without the heat. When I die I do not want to go to Hollister

Try walking in and your met with:
Welcome to the pier.

Now for one it's a shop not a bloody pier, if it was a pier there would be rides, now if I walk in then and try to pay to get on one of the 'rides' I think Churchill sqaure might ban me
