of Symes, Albion's biggest problem is a complete inabilty to finish teams off. It's not bad refereeing that is likely to cost us promotion but us letting teams off the hook too often.

The blatant robbing of two points is a sickener but we should have had the game out of sight long before the lino cheated us.

I hope Gus doesn't put all the blame for today's draw on the officials

Do you mean all the pretty passing and little end product?

More that once we go ahead, we seem to take our foot off the peddle and don't make teams suffer by hitting them on the break at pace as has traditionally happened to us when we are chasing games.

sorry but completley disagree. Fair enough we should have put what few chances we had away.

I'm not usually one for looking elsewhere for blame but there is no doubting whatsover that the linesman f***ed up and cost us 2 points. End of...

We played well today, we really did. Sure, Bournemouth closed us down everywhere and got stuck in, but that negated any attacking threat they may have had and we worked tirelessly to get in front and seemingly close out the game. Their first shot on goal was the penalty.

Agree. So far we've only managed a maximum of 2 goals in any one game this season. We need to be far more clinical if we're going to maintain being in and around the top of the league.

P.S. The ref and the linesman are still ****s though:angry:

I thought they both were, but that comment is crazy. Bournemouth were making it very difficult for us to play our football, which is why we were taking our time and building up

I thought the whole team played well, we just don't have the nasty killer instinct when we go ahead. We will start to slide down the table if we don't find it imo.

Lack of a decent striker will cost us.

Our summer 'striker' signing was always going to be crucial as Forster has gone. Pretty sure we haven't got him yet. We haven't got a striker who looks like they will score 15 goals let alone 25 goals a season yet.

Next week is more important as we really need to win if we have aspirations to be promoted.

agreed, enough chances to have had it locked down well before that nonsense at the end, Rochdale deja vu for me.....
