The Merlin was good last year, plenty of TV's, cheapish beer and they do food.

About a 5min walk from the county ground

merlin is home and away fans usually, but can get very busy.

The Merlin is always the popular choice. Otherwise go to the old town and get a cab down.

Avoid the town centre and DEFINITELY do NOT attempt the County Ground 'Hotel' next to the ground.

Merlin is the obvious choice, county ground hotel avoid, bulldog is on. If you can sit outside (on queens drive) town centre will be full if cops and a lot of pubs have closed, old town is ok but you need to get a taxi or bus to ground

The Rolleston's alright as well, though it might be better saved for after the game before a visit to Swindon's premier nightspot, The FURNACE.
