You are mental if you're going to rely on there being no issues on mainline for such an occassion. Not to say it won't be fine, but how will you get to ground if any of usual suspects (delay, suicide, signal failure) turn up on a Friday rush hour?

fair enough altho I'd still feel inclined to bag a few cans and get close asap. I do journey most days and usually problems only when you really need to be somewhere - such as Club Wembley for Chelsea City sf when cousin bags a corporate jolly. Got there with 20mins to spare before ko. Not really the shindig I was looking forward to. All down to a "person under a train at South Croydon" (standard)
