Pub in Peterborough

Does anyone off hand know the name of the popular pub by the bridge in P'Boro away fans are welcome in? I have a strange feeling it might have been closed the last time we went, Sheffield Wed. fan at work wanted to know.

I cant remember its name, i used to live in Pboro, and its a gay pub at all times except football days when it is an away fans pub. I think it might have been closed down while ago.

Tell him to steer clear and head to the Bee Hive which is halfway between the station and the ground.

It holds happy memories of watching England games in there, and got smashed up one year the seagulls were up there....

the pub i always go to in peterborough is
The Cherry Tree, big beer garden, you have to pay for parking ,but if you buy a pint in there you get your money back.

"The Bridge" was indeed a gay pub, but was demolished a couple of years ago - The Cherry Tree is recommended for away fans.

It was imaginatively titled, The Bridge. And it has now indeed gone.

The Cherry Tree was nice enough, but someone ought to tell them we're coming so they can employ more than one member of bar staff!
