I went in the other day at lunchtime. Seemed reasonable, sold Harveys so I wasn't complaining. But that was lunchtime, haven't been in the eve im afraid

Ive been in there for a few nights a year or so ago and although its by far not the worst pub ive had a drink in I wouldnt put it in the 'good' category!

Only been in there a couple times as I used to live round the corner and it was the closest that showed the live footy.

The GC must have gone downhill. I haven't been in it for more than 25 years but in the early 80s, it was quite a pleasant pub - certainly not a place you'd expect to see someone decked. And it's scarcely in a rough part of town - why does it have this reputation?
