I think an established League 2 striker would be worth a punt. From that list Le Fondre, Pitman and Jackson look like potentials who wouldn't cost a fortune.

Really? I thought Jackson was out of contract? Le Fondre moved last summer for £100k, I'd imagine £250k may well secure his signature, especially as they've missed out on promotion. I hadn't realised Bournemouth were coming up so you're probably right, he would cost a lot.

Wowsers. In that case I stand well and truly corrected.
Nothing behind that Jackson figure, just the idea he scored 17/18 goals (?) this season in a relegated side and is still very young, just my guess.

i still think bournemouth would sell Pitman even though they are coming up... they have no money and are still struggling to pay off their debts
jackson i agree 400k, but pacey and reckon could play off Murray really well.. again good ages believe hes 24 or 25
