When people go on a rant, why can't they write in paragraphs, which would at least make their drivel more visually readable, even if the content is still the same uninformed bollocks!

Perhaps the ellipses are the paragraph breaks. Otherwise immigrants are creating out of control back yard conpost fumes, which are causing climate change. All under poor policy from the government. 🤣

"the same old suspects with the same old apologist bollox ... the country is f***ed and it is now descending into a 3rd world shit hole"

Having seen your predictable and often provocative (deranged?) posts over many years, the phrase 'same old suspects' seems very apposite. I usually ignore you, but on this occasion, I will respond.

So all our problems are caused by immigration? Absolutely nothing to do with 45 years of governments selling-off our industries and services (often to overseas buyers, so 'giving away control', not 'taking it back'), running-down public services, attacking workers' rights in the name of 'labour market flexibility', giving massive tax cuts to the richest while claiming that their new wealth will 'trickle down' to the rest of us - which it hasn't (it has often gone overseas), allowing professional buy-to-let landlords to buy-up dozens of homes (and then push up the cost of rents and reducing the stock of other properties to buy), imposing 15 years of austerity so that millions of workers have seen their wages and salaries remain stagnant and decline in value compared to the increased cost of living (you never hear politicians accuse companies of being 'greedy' or 'selfish' when they raise their prices each year to boost profits or share-holder value), and cutting welfare every year.

The 'shit-hole' that we see is the result of allowing private and corporate greed to run rampant, while denigrating and destroying anything 'public' or 'community-based'. This 'shit-hole' is what happens when politicians put profits before people.

Of course, no politician wants to admit this treachery and their contempt for 'the people', so they (and Right-wing newspapers, plus GBNews) constantly tell us that all of these economic and social problems are solely the fault of immigrants - and, sadly, many desperate people choose to believe this, because it gives them an easy target for their anger and frustration, and someone to blame. Then people like you act as useful idiots by perpetrating this divide-and-rule, punch-down, propaganda - claiming to be on the side of people you would normally cross the road to avoid! You want to exploit their grievances for Right-wing purposes.

Two other points:

Immigration did not suddenly increase last July, so why did these Right-wing yobs not riot during the previous 14 years of Conservative governments? No, they waited until a Labour government was elected - the riots were politically-motivated by 'the usual suspects', pure and simple. The usual Far Right thugs from the BNP and EDL - claiming to be patriots while beating-up British citizens and burning their cars and homes. Not a brain-cell between them - always the least-intelligent members of society who think that they are the Master Race!

You are implying that if people are angry about something, and don't feel that politicians are listening to them, then rioting becomes a natural or legitimate response to their anger and frustration? So can or should we all riot - and then be defended by people like you - if we are concerned or angry about climate change, corporate greed and corruption, poverty, privatised water companies pumping millions of gallons of raw human shit into our rivers, unaffordable housing, etc, and the failure of successive governments to address these issues?

Strange isn't it - "immigrants are bad" - oh but I am one. No different to Trump or Vance who clearly don't understand they are from immigrant families.

Nailed it.

Unfortunately Sydney seems to react to the very real pressures of life by getting pissed and going on absurdist rants.
Even from someone who is, I'm sure, good company, and a loyal friend, this isn't a good look.
In fact, it's f***ing pathetic. ???

It’s basically the following joke:

There’s a banker, an immigrant and a Daily Mail reader in a room with ten biscuits. The banker eats nine and then says to the Daily Mail reader “you better watch out that immigrant might take your biscuit”.

The immigrant that complains about the ills of immigration is surely confused.

Some immigrants must be okay.

zzzzzzzz yes , yes , yes mate , because I don't care about the country of my birth and all my friends and relatives who live there , "place is f***ed" its a standard reply from folk who have recently visited , but you'd be all over that from your vantage point in the western outskirts of Victoria.

what is the alternative to rioting if corporates and govt. have shat on you for 45 years (and more) and now the slow , steady demise of the country is staring everyone in the face , what is the alternative really ...?? just ignore it ...?? sure there are plenty of places in the UK that are still quite pleasant to live but equally there are places that are out of control for whatever reason that may be , this thread is about "rioting in lots of places" ....ok I'll concede there may be a hardcore of right wing agitators who are stirring shit up but is it not warranted , what is the alternative ..?? go and speak to your M.P ...?? :lolol:

Lets face it Britain has got a pretty poor track record when in comes to invading and colonising and there appears to be a fair amount of appeasement going on , contemporary Britain appears to be consoling refugees to atone for transgressions of the past , this may not be the case but it is how it appears.

your argument is one sided and is diametrically opposed to mine , you are saying you see no issue with thousands of largely unidentifiable young men entering the country and being clothed , housed and fed at public expense ...?? I'll grant you this whole issue is probably being used as a smoke screen to rinse/siphon off as much public money as possible into the coffers of "the same old suspects" , I don't think you or I can come on a football forum and engage in a politically charged thread and expect everyone to agree and get along wonderfully , everyone has different opinions.

As if it wasn't bad enough Starmer is now talking about boots on the ground in Ukraine but that is probably worth a thread of its own

So I am right then, its only certain types of immigrants that you dislike?

Perhaps you could be clearer on this stuff, given the problems caused by the deliberate conflation of sub-groups for nefarious purposes.

Then of course you wouldn't sound so silly as one of the 'good ones' complaining about the whole group.

Just so we are clear, which is the subgroup you are complaining about? Is it all refugees or Bogus refugees?

Either way, you are putting a lot of blame on a small number of people.

You must be encouraged that the Starmer government is becoming more proactive in processing asylum seekers and deporting the bogus ones? Thank god there is a government dealing with the situation rather than holding them at the taxpayers expense.
