Failing that, a pint of Waggledance, please. The latter blows your head off when you're not looking.

Speaking of such things, Wobbly Bob (to be found in and around Cheshire) worked in much the same way enjoyable way. :drink: Four pints of that in the sun and you're set for the day. :)

Old Tom was a killer too. I drank four pints of that in The Quadrant in Brighton and fell down those nasty wooden stairs to the gents. When I made it back up to the bar the girl serving poured me another one for free for providing such entertainment. I couldn't feel a thing until the next morning when I realised I had very little skin left on my shins. :drink: :drink: :drink:

Good Friday and The Red Lion beer festival has a similar effect, on a Saturday morning I have bruises etc and no recollection of returning home or anything, and how I got home this year with 2 glasses in tact is beyond me !???

That is a fine acheivement indeed Zef, I always whince when I see people staggering off the premises with glasses in pockets, tucked down shirts etc. I've got quite a collection now but I do cheat and get a taxi home.

Proper Old Tom used to be 13%. It's only a nancy 8% now. If you got through 4 of the 13 stuff all due respect to you and your liver :drink:

It was circa '88-'89 so I think it was the proper juice but I couldn't be sure. I was virtualy halucinating!

Ale is total piss, why would you drink anything other than Guinness? A meal in itself.
:nono:

And if you cannae get that then settle for Murphys.

I made an error doing that. Smuggled a 4 pint jug out of a pub and 100 yds from home, fell, smashed the jug and got lanced by a nice 3 inch shard of glass. Woke up bloodied with tissues stuck to my side tied with a piece of string around my waist. Ah the wonders of beered up first aid.
