The best thing about FIFA was on the old FIFA International when you got sent off and could run away from the ref.

Pro Evo 4 is going to be amazing.

Everyone used to rave about the FIFA series of games, but Pro Evolution has always been the no1 for me. Even it's forunner "International Soperstar Soccer Pro" was head and shoulders above everything else.
Bought the first Pro Evolution game but left the next two alone fearing that there wouldn't be enough changes to make it worth parting with 40 quid. If this one is going to live up to it's promise then I can see myself making a purchase.

The overall graphics look amazing especially the idea of the players kits getting dirty. Marvelous Scenes :clap2:

Hwever I am hoping that they have made big improvements in the gameplay as there are areas that do need inproving in PES3. If they don't then it will not really be much better

I think a few more tricks for the player on the ball would be good, maybe even depending on who had the ball, i.e. Zidane's double drag back or Ronaldo's step over.

Yes and make them easier to pull off

gullet the ref and license teams in this will be amazing :D. roll on 15th october.
Agreed, having the teams called by their real names will be a major improvement. Didn't really worry about not having a ref but including one will definately add to the relism. Just hope he doesn't get the yellow card out as many times as he seemed to do in the first one. That used to spoil it a bit for me.

The hand ball rule on PES3 infuriates me

Good idea to put it in but it is so silly how only the attacking team ever hand balls it

It annoys me when players have a free header but suddenly someone like John Hartson decides to do an over head kick when you press square instead of sticking his nut on it.

ps2 mag- the on-pitch appearance of the referee definitely adds to the game's authentic atmosphere. but the real improvements are in his handling of the game. the advantage rule is now perfectly judged-play continues just long enough to see if anythink develops, and the freekick's always awarded if the fouling side gains possession. the man in black is also less keen to whip out his red card, with cautions or a "talking to" more usual for a first offence, and he's not affraid to let the occasional firm but fair challenge go.

read that folks smashing stuff :D.
