Harry 'No Knowledge' Of Bird Shootings
Updated:07:19, Wednesday October 31, 2007
Prince Harry has "no knowledge" of the shooting of two rare protected birds on one of the Queen's estates, royal officials have said.
The Prince was in the area when the hen harriers were killed on the Sandringham estate near King's Lynn in Norfolk, last Wednesday.
But a royal spokesman said Harry could not help the police - who are investigating a complaint - because he remembered very little about the incident because he had had several lines of coke, three quarters of a bottle of vodka and was being videoed whilst getting a noshing off an old Etonian schoolboy chum at the time.
