Whilst sitting at home, with the flu, off work and feeling very sorry for myself, I watched Prime Ministers Question Time which shows how bored I really was today.

I then realised, that this weekly event, the only regular Parliamentary occasion which is ever covered in the media, is a perfect platform to get coverage for Falmer.

I urge everyone to write to the three Brighton & Hove MP's, asking them to ask the Prime Minister about Falmer.

To assist, I have drafted a letter for them. Please copy and paste this and send to the address shown below. This will also show how supportive these politicians really are, by pushing them in front of the Headmaster to ask an uncomfortable question.

Here's the letter...

Dr Desmond Turner, MP. (Brighton, Kemp Town)
Mr David Lepper, MP. Brighton Pavilion
Mr Ivor Caplin, MP. Hove.

House of Commons,
London,
SW1A 0AA

Dear Sir,

I refer to the planning decision currently under consideration by the Deputy Prime Minister, for a new community stadium at Falmer.

I am sure that you will recognise the anguish which the delay in the announcement of the decision is having upon supporters of the club, and in order that it can be established how long this is going to take, I would be grateful if you would give consideration to asking the Prime Minister at the next available place on his weekly Question Time:

1. If the Prime Minister supports the club in its quest to get a new ground

2. If the Prime Minister supports Falmer as a site

3. When the final decision will be announced.

Yours sincerely,

It's got to be a better question than "Does my Honorable Friend agree with me that we all think he is wonderful and will he please give me a job in the Cabinet?"

Back to my sick bed.........

Have sent mine by e mail to Mssrs. Caplin and Turner by e mail. Mr Lepper does not have an e mail address, but can obviously be written to at the House of Commons.
