As previously stated, that was in response to Little Rich's idiotic comment "We're battering them lads" at 1-1, when you'd just had only your second good chance of the game. Was meant completely in jest, although I agree it did come back to haunt me!

Good game. Snoobs is quality. Fair play mate. He and Sam were the best players on the pitch, by a distance.

I was worried the 'unit' comment was another dig at my slowly increasing waistline...

But yeah, Sheebs is a heffer.

I though Conboy (like a mix between Colin Hendry and Zidane) and Snoobs were class in a glass. And the pretty centre back was certainly tidy as well.

That said, I can't think of a player on the young'uns team who didn't look good on the ball and play well.

I blame TOM for not heading the ball for that second goal though...(JOKE before you go mental fella).

And Ali Jenkins for shooting whenever he got the ball. Including from corners. And throw ins.

That's quite alright, I'd have to question all future Albion related opinions if that's what you thought!

Thought this years game was much more enjoyable to lasts, perhaps due to the close scoreline, and the lack of major mistakes compared to the first game.

Was a bit disappointed with my performance, and I think this has shown me that if I do want to switch from 5/6aside to 11aside (as per my thread on here a few months ago), I'd have a lot of work to do. I think my main downfall was the fairly large gaps in play where you potentially don't see the ball, where as 5/6aside you are constantly involved, I think I let my concentration slip and therefore had a few bad first touches. As touched upon though, I don't think the pitch helped either.

Lastly, I know your captaincy has changed, and I don't know the details about why he played for us in this years friendly, but as a B&HA Supporters fan, and having watched last year, I really think you should be keeping Snoobs in your team.
