Heatmaps show a strange gap in play from either side on the left side of the Albion defensive half. Players (both sides) just don't go there all that much.

Albion edge most stats. We lose possession in the opposing half 11 times. Probably indicates we are playing in their half. I think we have got to watch quick breaks into our left side where PNE exposed a weakness in the home game.

However, the anomaly may be just because Stockdale has been under-occupied. He was only touched the ball 7 times compared to Kirkland 18.

I think PNE must be feeling comfortable enough to get more adventurous. This could work either way, leaving gaps at their back or force our defence in giving free kicks away (which they are prone to do). .

I would like Stephens to push forward a bit more, but this means bringing on a midfielder. Calderon for Knockaert pushing Rosenoir into midfield? (an option rather than suggestion)
