Preston's league cup game against Mansfield has again been postponed due to a toxic fire 100 yards from the stadium. This will give them a full week to prepare for their Championship game against the Albion on Saturday. Rumours that the match will be postponed at Withdean, due to the home team being unable to pass the ball to each other, have yet to be confirmed.

I think we're better off having that extra game under our belt, even if it wasn't the confidence booster we were hoping for. In theory, playing an extra game should make us more sharper than Preston. Note that I said in THEORY, not that it will really happen.
