How would you f***ing know? Actually, it doesn't matter anyway. The Albion supporters - who frequent the place on matchdays - will continue to have a top time in the joint: whilst those who don't fancy it will choose to drink elsewhere.

there you go again twinkle toes ..getting on the band wagon of anything that you find just remotley offensive... such sad person you are..go back to your knitting !!

I don't know where Das lives but I would guess it would be quite a trek for him to get to the Brewery Tap on a match day because he doesn't go to Withdean. Come to think of it, might explain why he has nothing to say about the football and just sticks to sniping at people when he gets the chance.
ive been in there , to have a piss, quite usefull ,

What a stunning ripost: you've done me up like the proverbial kipper yet again!

ps Unfortunately, the knitting's not been going too well of late. As you can well imagine, I've been spending enormous amounts of time & energy kitting out my bandwagon - what with the start of the new netball season - so sacrifices have had to be made. I do hope you're not too disappointed. On a brighter note, I did manage too do a bit of applique during the game on Saturday. It's a representation of The BVM (Blessed Virgin Mary) eating a tasty-looking jam sandwich, but even that ran into unexpected problems! I had to hide it away after an enjoyable 15 minutes of sewing - as my aforementioned handiwork was attracting far too many pesky wasps (who were no doubt fooled by its uncanny authenticity). It seems that some things are just not meant to be, sadly.

Good for pre and post match footy covergae and you get a better pint in their, Harveys and normally one other like Abbot.

Like the Hove Park Tavern it will become a dust bowl in a couple of years time when Falmer draws us all in the other direction, so enjoy its proper pub feel before we are all standing in concrete walkways in the bowls of a football stadium moaning about John Smiths and watching sky sports news on TV's mounted too far away to read the text.
