Poyet: This Job Feels Right

Gus Poyet says has a special feeling about becoming Albion boss, in what will be his first managerial position.
The former Swindon, Leeds and Tottenham Hotspur number two admitted that once he had left White Hart Lane he decided that his next step would be into management, but that it had to be the right opportunity.
Poyet told Seagulls Player, "I'm delighted to be here. I have been waiting for this opportunity since I left Tottenham, so I want to thank the chairman and everyone at the club for giving me this chance.
"After I left Spurs I made the decision to become a manager myself. I'd done alright being an assistant and knew it was important for my career, but it was time to step up and be manager.
"But I had to feel that the job is right for me. I think this is what happened here - I have a very good feeling about being here. I'm convinced we can do well."
Poyet will have his first training session with the squad on Thursday, ahead of Sunday's baptism of fire at Southampton.
And the new Seagulls boss has already identified Albion's defensive frailties as needing the most work ahead of Sunday's showdown.
He also admits he is relishing the fact his first game in charge will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
"I never hid as a player or as an assistant manager, so I won't be hiding on Sunday," he said.
"We will go there with some good training under our belts and we will go there to win the game.
"We need to work hard to make sure that we are in good shape, that we are organised and that we defend as a team and try to keep a few clean sheets.
"Going forward doesn't seem to be the problem, so in the beginning it seems quite clear that we need to close players down a bit better, try to be solid at the back and give the freedom to the attacking players to go and score goals."
