Is there any reason why presentations, such as Player of the Season, are always done in front of an empty North Stand? They're pretty much invisible from the much fuller South Stand. I used to think it was to do with the range of the pitch microphone, but it seemed to work fine for commentary on pre-season testimonial games. Even the centre circle would be better.
