South East showed quite a bit of us at the end of News at Ten.

Of course Prescott is going to say Hull. It's his constituency after all

Are we not over-reacting a bit here?

He was trying to be funny, albeit unsuccessfully. He clearly cannot comment on the matter. We didn't really expect him to turn round and say "Sod the enquiry, we'll let you build the ground anyway" today did we?

Chill Guys! :smokin:

I wouldn't knock John for that, I suspect he was trying to be funny and normal. Least he shows a bit of passion for his local football team.

The fact that he didn't a bite size sound bite ready (like Tony Blair in the Argus) is what I like about the guy.

He can't say anything can he concrete can he ?

I like John, I like him alot and I'll like him even more when he says to Falmer.

My son did.

When we started to walk back to Madeira Drive, he asked me if Prescott had said yes.

Bless!! (He's 7, by the way)

He was only having a laugh FFS!

Give the man some credit please-he displays a bit of devilment and people say they're going to vote Tory??

What's he supposed to say? "Great effort by these fans-I'll push their bid for a stadium through"? Puh-lease!
Slight over-reaction methinks!
