...for Liverpool. In Stanley Park.

I've never been but is it a park in the truest sense and if so how come it got approval so quickly?

There must be something I'm missing, genuinely, so feel free to enlighten me.

It's not just me..........from today's Fiver...

John Prescott has given the nod to Liverpool's plans to move to Stanley Park. Quite why he couldn't do the same for Brighton's stadium plans we don't know.

(Again) feel free to enlighten me.

He was able to say yes because they haven't got Nasty Nimbys

He will say yes to us in time but is staving off a Nimby bid for a judicial review.

Stanley Park is a park in the real sense of the word-it also used to get used as a car park on match-days.

The people of Liverpool (much the same as the people of Brighton) in the majority want a bigger, better, newer stadium than they have at present. Common sense prevailed and the populace recognised the importance of their local football club. Unlike the selfish, mindless twats standing in our way...

Because Stanley Park is designated as a park, the plans for Liverpool's new stadium were called in. Thankfully for the people of Liverpool, there weren't any NIMBYs blocking the application. Unlike the 200 tossers in Falmer village who believe their selfishness overides the wishes of the population of Brighton and Hove.

Say what you like about Northerners-they all get their new grounds with the minimal amount of fuss.
