The Man United v Brentford match looks intriguing tomorrow.

Both teams have a significantly worse GD than us. United's is 13 worse.

United win
Pro: Brentford will stay 3 points behind us having played 2 games more
Con: United will be 7 points ahead of us having played a game more.

Brentford win
Pro: United will stay 4 points ahead in 5th having played a game more
Con: Brentford will join us on 46 points having played 2 games more

Draw
Pro: United 5 points ahead having played a game more; Brentford 2 points behind having played 2 games more
Con: Not much

With Chelsea and Liverpool struggling and the chance of catching one of Newcastle, Spurs or United, I'd take a draw first, then away win.

Man U have 9 games in April (EPL games + FA Cup + Europa League) and many of their players played for their national teams last month.

The super busy late March to early May might help Man U fail to get points, which will help us win 4th = Champions League place ;) (y)

Your are getting the hang of this supporting Brighton lark and well done to you. It does take bucketloads of blind optimism but always remember, it’s the hope that kills you!

I fancy West Ham to turn over the Smugness tonight. They raise their game against the bigger clubs - always have done. Around 9/4. 👍

I'm loving your use of the term "us" :)

Bloody good fun this competing for a top 7 spot and regular games on tv (yes I want sat 3pm for the Albion but it has to have its plus points!)

So all out cheering West Ham to win tonight obviously…

The other game… draw pls, but lots of positives whatever the result.

Yep, I can't really decide what I'd prefer - the pessimist in me wants a Man U win, the optimist wants a Brentford win and the realist wants a draw.
Pfft! Why is being a Brighton fan so complicated? :)
(It goes without saying, what the preferred outcome is in the other match.)

Grrrr. I really really want Newcastle to screw it up. If nothing else just to wipe that grin off the face of His Royal Smugness.

Newcastle were always going to win this absolutely no problems. West Ham have some very poor defenders signed by Moyes. WH toiled against a woeful Southampton side so no way they will get anything tonight. Wouldn't be surprised if Moyes gets the boot before the end of the season but if not definitely the summer. Hope i'm wrong but think it will be 0-3 tonight.

I’ve given up on catching Newcastle.

Their slump is over. His Smugness has organised his team magnificently since he took over, they just don’t concede.

Now that he has got them scoring again, if they get a goal up, it’s pretty much game over. They are amongst the best at the dark arts of time wasting etc.

I think 3rd place is theirs to lose. I can’t seem them doing that I’m afraid.
