What a game!!! Really enjoyed that - obviously not great from an Albion perspective but not the end of the world. Great to see Gordon sent off

I must say that is entirely on Moyes. At 3-1 West Ham were absolutely cruising, then he brings off Antonio (who never manages 90 minutes) and goes into a bizarrely negative shape leaving Paqueta alone up front. Paqueta proceeds to meander around somewhere in Dan Burn’s giant pocket and they completely concede possession and the midfield.

Then to cap it all, he brings on Kalvin Phillips who last had a good game in early 2022, who immediately concedes a penalty

Genuine tactical disasterclass. Kind of feel sorry for him cos the second should never have been a pen, but even still, Newcastle were carving them open. It was only a matter of time.

Agree on both counts. Incredibly soft penalty but they were in bits at that stage already and another goal or two was inevitable. Disasterclass is spot on.

Europe seems a long way away now for this season with our remaining games, injuries etc. Be well happy with 10th, can't see that happening either with some good sides breathing down our neck.

Chelsea have won the softest penalty and Burnley player sent off.
Looks like a shocker from the ref.

VAR and ref have lost it.
Never a foul, certainly not a second yellow, and now Kompany sent off too for calling out the ref.
Chelsea deserve the lead but not in the way they have it.

Just seen that Burnley red card. THE worst decision of the season, and it’s not even close. It’s not a FOUL, certainly not a yellow - never mind a second yellow. Kompany sent off for being rightly furious.

That’s truly as bad a decision as you’ll ever see in top level football. Embarrassing
