Wow! That was truly the worst corner I've ever seen. Way too high and went out for a goal kick just adjacent to the corner flag.

Very difficult too see whether that was handball even with all the VAR angles. The initial impact was on the chest/upper armpit similar area to Mitoma's goal ruled out at spurs last season. However, a few angles then suggest it rolls down the arm but no angle clearly shows a deviation. Ergo not enough evidence to change refs original decision.

Of course the audio should have been " checking and it's Palace cxxts so obviously an error should be chalked off!"

Quite funny that Postecoglu has just said [Spurs' set piece coach] Mile Jedinak has really worked on their defending of free kicks and corners.

That's beardy former Palace donkey Mile Jedinak there, thwarting Roy's game plan.

To be fair Palace took a couple of the worst corners I’ve ever seen - ever. Stevie Wonder could’ve organised their defence.

Yeah I know.

They’ve had a very friendly fixture list to start the season too which hasn’t been mentioned much.

Debatable.

Majority of games away, Arsenal away, Liverpool, United

Games we hardly get points in.

Tougher games for sure, but after losing to almost everyone at least once last year, not sure there is an easy game lol

Quite funny to see Spurs getting excited early in the season. Surely they know they are Spurs?

Who is getting excited above enjoying the football this season after last year?

The only dullards mentioning anything else are the same ones who will chortle when they say "Spursy" when we fall away at some point, due to the squad after bigging up the start, for clicks, alongside those that predicted Spurs to finish 15th without Kane.

I've not seen a single Spurs fan claim anything else than a top 5/6 is a goal
If we have a good season.

Those poor, poor Spuds fans, grizzling their hearts out at the wicked decision by VAR to allow Palarse a consolation goal. The victims ...... always the victims. Without the brain power to remember the three points handed to them against Liverpool by a VAR decision so bad that PGMOL had to deliver a humiliating public apology to Liverpool.
With the memory retention of goldfish, obviously it is too much for the poor lambs to remember the three points PGMOL had to apologise to Brighton for giving them last season too. Bless their poor little victimised cotton socks!

Yet more VAR decisions are gifted to the 2010 version of Crystal Palace - surely this can’t go on? No wonder there’s no money left… 🤣 well done spurs - 4 points and a game in hand got belted around many a boozer tonight 🤣

Hodgson has definitely reverted back to type after last season’s exploits. It was very enjoyable hearing the Palace fan’s frustration as Spurs just knocked it about between their keeper and centre backs. Zero press from Palace even at 0-2 down with 10 minutes to go. Obviously on Roy’s behest. Or they’re just lazy fuckers.

Comfortably the worst footballing side in the league but they have enough discipline to pull off the odd vile ugly win. Utter embarrassment to the top division.

Comfortably? Have you seen Everton or Sheff Utd? Neither are easy on the eye and every bit as shite to watch. Palace do fall into that category though, which is why even 5,000 of The Best Fans In The Country walk out well before the end of the game and boo as soon as they go two down.

Don't fall into the trap of guilding the lily when it comes to highlighting how poor the Nigels are. We don't need to. We are on another level, competing in Europe and for a European spot next season. They have another shite lower half season to look forward to (their 11th lower half finish in 12 seasons as they did finish 10th once), with attritional dull football and hardly any goals at either end - just about ensuring they remain the league's massive STOOL that won't flush.
