I wish we could play THIS Southampton on Sunday. Absolutely terrible defending

We won’t.

You know it, I know it, 99% of the Amex home crowd know it.

Their defence will be stunningly well organised and compact this weekend, they’ll lie deep and central and give us no room snuffing out any attacking acumen we might show.

Then someone like Adams or Armstong will nick a goal on the break, one of the 3 shots we’ll allow them whilst we waste 25 + efforts.

0-1 to Southampton. Nailed on.

Every time Southampton have a spell of pressure a Burnley defender goes down with a head injury. Dyche’s legacy lives on.

Burnley now just a point behind Everton, albeit Everton have a game in hand. Watford & Norwich are no hopers, so think it's down to either Burnley or Everton to join them in The Championship next season. Leeds will be looking over their shoulder but reckon they'll be safe enough.

Remaining fixtures:

Burnley

Watford A
Villa H
Spurs A

Toon H

Everton
Liverpool A
Chelsea H
Leicester A
Watford A
Brentford H

If Burnley got 2 wins out of the next 3 games the toffees are in big big relegation trouble

Could turn very interesting.

I dont think Leeds are able to relax either, only takes a bad weekend and they will be right in the mix.

This. Very noticeable, and nothing new.

Revolting cynical side. Everton going down would be hilarious, but Burnley making the drop would be absolutely lovely.

LOVELY

You can put a line through 3 of their fixtures. This means they may need 6 points from palace away, brighton at home or Brentford away.

They are right in the mix imo

Looking at those fixtures I have just put £5 on Leeds to go down.

I honestly think Everton will go. There's high potential for a significant worsening of their goal difference over the course of their remaining games, more so than Burnley on paper, who already have a slight edge on that front.

In effect, Burnley only really need to pick-up one more point than Everton to stay up, which I fancy them to do. Especially when you consider that they play Stevie G's Villa not once but twice; Philippe Coutinho in goal anyone?
