Both teams look absolutely shambolic at the back. Feel like this season there is going to be very little focus on defence.

What happened to the changes suggested for offside that if any part of the player was over lapping they’d still be onside? Basically going back to the old daylight rule?
 


it's almost as if both sides need a really good defensive mid

The glaring takeaway from the first 40 mins is how badly BOTH sides need Caicedo.

Do the commentators / pundits see the same pictures as we see on tv? Both obviously offside from first glance, but they seem to think they were tight.

He has, and all the talk of ‘pool having no DM, Mac A is class there.
His decision making is just different gravy. Knows when to play on half turn, when to speed the game up, slow it down, go longer or play shorter. He’s unbelievable
