Hate to say it (and it shows how good our squad is / was) but Ben White and Trossard fitting in fine in the team top of the league.
I think it"s a good thing that reflects well on us as a club.

What makes me sad is when I think how good we'd be if we still had them both as well as Bissouma. We know what Trossard can do in our current team, White would be fantastic in a De Zerbi team and Bissouma would probably be a beast, or worst case scenario, top quality cover in central midfield.

If we still had all three I genuinely think top four would be a very realistic prospect rather than a slightly forlorn hope.

Let’s hope we’ve got some nice bonuses coming our way when Arsenal win the league. A few million into the kitty would certainly take some of sting out of Arse winning the title.

Getting £25m for Trossard looks like.. not the best piece of business done in the last few years.

Not really missed him though

Very weak heads these professional sports 'men' have and such a low pain threshold.
Can't be long before rugby style head gear is required.

Nearly doubled our money on a player who had less than 18 months on his contract, didn’t want to be here, had fallen out with the manager and some members of the squad. Although we could have got more, when you take all of the above into consideration it’s not that bad of a deal.

Not a terrible deal but compared to what we are used to (generally getting very good fees for selling first team players) it is just slightly unsatisfactory. But happens sometimes obviously.
As opposed to getting nothing?
No, it is better than getting nothing but somewhat worse than getting £40-50m which is probably what his qualities should be worth.

We were never getting £40-50m for a 28 year old with 18 months on his contract. Even TB couldn’t pull that deal off.
