Intentionally a little controversial?

Whilst I think Oatway is out of his depth I also think in this role he could prosper. He is good at defending the back line and with two midfielders in front of him I don't think he'd be exposed.

I've got a feeling David Lee will start. From the pre-season games I've seen/read about he's done alright for himself. McGhee is keen on giving everyone a chance too. Dump Lee in at the deep end and see if he swims.

Then Jarrett/Jones/Molango are all very quick. So hopefully that'll either catch them on the counter or scare them into keeping men back.

Anyone else fancy themselves as a tactical genius? :jester:

Haywards Heath
Kuipers (Roberts injured)

Virgo Cullip Butters Harding

Currie Reid Nicholas/Oatway Jarrett

Hart Molango

Nobody in their right mind will play Jarrett on the right side of midfield as he is all left foot and the left side of midfield for us is a weakness until now.

Jarrett says on the official site he can play on the right.

So does Dave Lee.

And I expect Ibrahim Tankary would have said that too if it meant he got in the team. :jester:

McGhee doesn't mind trying players out in different positions though, as we have seen before. I see no reason why Jarrett couldn't play on the right. Jones has been pretty good pre-season. Hart hasn't been convincing imo.

im sure this wont be the team but i'd like to see a 4-5-1 formartion much like the old div 3 one- ie 3 strikers in attack, one in defence.

my team would be (injuries and signings allowing)-

roberts
virgo cullip butters jones
currie reid oatway nicholas jarrett
malonga
