Well just over 10 days ago I dislocated my 4th metatarsal and snapped two ligaments in my foot, it is by far the worse football injury I have ever had which isn’t bad going as I’m 28 and been playing football since I was about 10.

So today question is “What is the worse football injury you have ever had or seen?”

Missing flued in one of my discs. Never can be cured.

When I was 16 I always played in goal when we played with jumpers for goalposts. In our case though, jumpers were replaced with backpacks full of school stuff. I saved a shot and landed on the bag got up and was fine. This was until about 15 mins later where I could hardly stand, had MRI scans which showed no flued. Its a bit like a hinge that needs WD40. Have attacks every now and then where i can not move.

I was playing in goal for sunday kids team, loose ball I ran out and grabbed it, the other teams striker carried on swinging and kicked my hand breaking my finger. That was 18 years ago. My finger hasn't been straight since.

Me too, except I can straighten it, but not bend it all the way.

Also in goal, got a crack on my right ankle. Spiral fracture just above the ankle and then dislocated it walking off. Still went to the pub before the hospital.

Shattered my little finger a couple months back. The "ball" bone went half an inch straight through the "cup" bone. Finger was pointing completely the wrong way -

Shortly after that it went a nasty Purple/Green colour.

Had 2 hours of surgery. Now have a metal screw through my knuckle, finger still not straight, still can't be bent, and is in a cast for 2 more months.

Will never be able to use it [properly] again.
