True. However the amount in question was a piddly sum (a few million) that would scarcely have cleared Albion's debts let alone re-embursed the shareholders or left anything for team strengthening.

Luckily Knight told the cheapskates to f*** off and waited until some serious money came along before he relinquished control.

So TB's concept of success is?

Success AND Failure. According to you, it's this...

If we finished 7th, I suspect Tony Bloom, more importantly, would deem our seasons results a failure. After all would he want us to be starting off at Falmer in League 1?

The original question was asking what YOU considered failure would be, not what Tony Bloom considered failure to be. By saying you think Tony Bloom's opinion is more important, it appears to be over-riding your opinion.

To answer your quesion - in this context, I personally don't give a toss what Tony Bloom's opinion of success is.

Ignore them just training exercises the nitty gritty starts in August first 10 games should give us a clear indicator I'm hoping for a play off spot and day out with victory at wembley:albion2:

My view is that of TB. 7th this season would be a failure.
However, until we bring in a decent forward I cannot see us reaching the top 6 this season.

As my season ticket arrived today, I think one of those England flops should grace the Withdean. A season at the rough & tumble end of the football league is what they need!

my season tix not come yet wonder what wanker they will sit me with this year?

be on the phone to TB or DB to get moved.

I think without a proven striker to play alongside Murray any hope of a play-off ending season will come to nothing and we will end up mid-table ...
We've lost out top scorer from last season and as yet not replaced him

I concur. Our pre season performances & lack of goals is not enlightening.
If we concede first in a game, will we score 2?
