Could be a positive move for him in a lot of ways.

Better somewhere a long way from trouble in the EFL for me. Carlisle or Barrow - become a legend at either of those (scoring 25+ in a season), and see where he goes from there. Much less than that, they can have him permanently. Somewhere, somehow he needs to recapture the ability that made him PL2 POTS. Not somewhere all nice and exotic and WAG friendly like Venice, FFS!

There’s some sort of friendly at Peacehaven Friday (I think) I won’t be there, I’m presently cutting off my nose to spite my face in a personal boycott however I’d like to see (or in this case, be told about) a big crowd there, it’s easy to get to on the 12 and the bar’ll be open

I've asked via the club's post on Facebook - on a Saturday, it's probably the only hope of a reply (assuming their admin is monitoring comments). The post didn't even say what the opposition's name was, leading to a few people asking! It relied on people recognising the badge...

Maybe they are trying to get something organised locally but not confirmed yet.
