You can sign players for next season from Jan and seeing there is some semi decent players around on frees soon it maybe a good idea.

Lot of injury problems there and I think you'll find that thanks to Cardiff indirectly he has pretty high salary expectations.

On the whole you're right except for the fact that right now we don't know who'll be manager and you can't really bring in players that might not suit McGhee's replacement if there is one.

But in this uncertain time for players most will take something and be assured of a contract next year.

Maybe but players like Burton (sorry for keep using him as a example) who are not really good enough for top half teams would have done a job for the albion, as shown on sat and since he was at Brentford im sure would have preferred to stay in the south then head up to Rotherham.
