I am going this Thursday for 3 night with mates.

I went back in 1992 so I am aware of the main building tourist sights.

Any recommendations on the usual:

pubs, bars, clubs, eateries especially veggie places.

Back in 92 I had the delights of tinned veg with rice at one establishment.

Was out there a couple of months ago....went to a bar/club called Double Trouble near Old Town Square........you would need to look it up on internet as its not easy to find as its a doorway and the club is underground in a stone cellar type place. Well worth a visit....not to touristy !!!

There's a top quality mexican (well for prague) - well advertised and on the north side of town

yeh double trouble was awesome.. they pump out the tunes in there.. beer is something like 50p a pint.. and the amosphere is great! There is a 5 story night club near the river which may also be worth a visit.. and if you're interested in strip clubs, then look no further than darlings.. it rocks!

Watch the prices at the strip clubs , slightly inflated and the birds always want champainge

also recomend the club by the river , great music and atmosphere(and superb veiwing as czech birds are fine)

Went on a stag do last year - during the day, Rocky O'Reilly's was a good bar to go - large pub, with sky sports on.

Evening is where it all kicks off. Prestige was a good strip joint, not very expensive, Darlings was a very dark place...
And as for Sex Park, well it does exactly what it says on the tin!

We found a club that opened at 5am called Studio 54 that was proper CARNAGE!!

The Dulpex club on top of the bulding by the museum was full of nice birds!!

Karlovy Lazne - biggest night club in Eastern Europe. Bit like and NCP carpark with endless bars and fit birds. Best night out in Prague IMHO.

There is a nice Gehry building by the river.
