not overwhelming in truth - Davies is much more an old fashioned inside forward than a winger and would challenge both Barnes and Buckley for a wide second striker role.

clearly not a gem but potentially a good solid signing and as good if not a little better than Hosky assuming he will leave. Who knows maybe some sort of a swop ?

My comment was "tongue in cheek" but the Bruno signing takes effect from 1 July after his previous contract expired and was announced in advance, so I am not sure it makes much difference.
