Out of interest how fluent is Jones? He was only in Spain for a year, I think.

Pretty good, I'm told, and I've no doubt he knows all the football terms in Spanish. Not, of course, that that's a given in the football world. I'd be ashamed of myself if I worked in a European country and wasn't fluent in the language inside a year (with the possible exceptions of Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Turkey or the Basque country) but some footballers play abroad for years and never seem to absorb a thing.
