BBC South reckoned you're all in the dark in Brighton this morning, therefore I'd just like to say "you're shit and you're going down" safe in the knowledge you can't flame me :clap2:

It probably came as a surprise to BBC South to discover we had electricity at all. The last time they looked at this area of Sussex was to comment on a French raid on the small fishing hamlet of Brigthelmstone

Okay, I've double-checked my sources in true Andrew Gilligan style - so can we have a show of hands from Falmer please?

Thought so...

As a general rule RP this board is not exactly jumping with posters from Falmer. They're the only people more backward than BBC South.

Meopham, Kent.
Don't talk to me about bloody power cuts after the hour I spent sat on a train in a tunnell just outside London Bridge last night.

Still could have been worse. 5 mins earlier and I'd have been stood on the platform at London Bridge waiting with 1000's of others for the trains to start again.

Border country.East Preston.
Don't contrast the American one with ours.

The news tried their hardest to hype this up into a killer terrorist mass blackout with people singing and dancing on the streets, campfires, soupkitchens, sobstories etc etc.
Not quite the same in crappy budget England. Two sets of traffic lights down, 1 trainstation (who can't wait to stop services for any reason) and the whole place is on it's fvcking knees again.

WE ARE SH!T

London Underground used to have it's own power source at Lots Road for 97 years until PFI closed it down. Now suprise, suprise we have massive system failure...
