Potential future Amex capacity

22,500 will suffice I am sure for just about all fixtures whilst we are not in the premiership (barring maybe a quarterfinal FA cup v a Man U etc) but what about if we were to become established in the top flight, or even one day compete in Europe!!!

Would additional tiers be possible to either the East, South or North stands? If so, how much capacity could they add, and how quick/easy would it be to fill in the corners, and how many more seats would this add?

Although I now enjoy a seat on the side, I do miss the North stand days and the terrace. Can anyone see the day our fans may again be given a choice as to sit or stand (like in europe) ? A massive north stand terrace would be a great choice, would imporve capacity further as well as the atmosphere.

Various sources have suggested that filling in the corners and the upper tier of the East stand, planning permission and transport planning permitting, would take the existing structures capacity up to something between 30000 and 32000.

the design has been changed over the last few years to enable a circa 32k capacity in future including exit sizing etc . i think transport issues will be a bigger challenge than physically making ground bigger

Each corner will add 2,000 to the capacity.
A second tier on the east stand will add a further 2,000, making the potential and ceiling capacity 32,500.

(maybe less in the corners and more in the east, but certainly 10,000 spread amongst them)
