Hither and Thither
All the old clique from earlier meet-ups, all the muppets and remf bods (even the wagers), all 5-a-siders, all daft bints, all those lost along the way (like Sompting, Harts Shirt), all those who first instinct is not to criticise, all the moderators, all those who organised the remf, help wth the flag, organise meet-ups, games of footy, all those on the Falmer campaign, all those who don't use nsc to trot out their political views, and all those who don't see the world (and nsc) revolving around them, all those who are prepared to state the alternative view, but not simply because it is the alternative view, all positive posters everywhere.

*big bosomed woman pushes to the front *

I love you all.

I don't have a problem with many but there is one notable exception. What a lot of people don't know is that Twatty has been posting here for over four years. At that time we were, by some quirk of fate, in the same Division as Orient. Now, some of their number had the termerity to cvonsider them our equals, clearly, anybody knows that that that never was of ever will be the case.

Twatty used to come on here with the (now virtually unheard) gay/rent boy rhetoric and irritated more than a few people, myself included. Twatty tends to make down right unpleasant and libelous comments (now usually restricted to abusive PMs) and has been banned on several occaisions. I'm far from being the only person who has offered him the oppotunity to meet on a one to one basis to discuss our differences but every invitation has been declined, I have no idea why, he's clearly such a tough guy after all.

The Twatty you see today can on occasion make some intelligent and sensible posts and as a matter of fact I have agreed with him on several issues and have posted to that effect. Still, you'll notice that one he gets going he finds it impossible to post with using profanity and being downright abiusive.

I reiterate, the antipathy between him and me goes back a long time and at one point I even tried to make peace. However, the man's basic immaturity would not allow this to happen. I'm sorry for all those who have had to put up with our ongoing squabbles but I would hope that most would have noticed by now that I am not the instigator and tend to not rise to the abuse.

I'm sorry but I welcome the contributions of the likes of Brighton Rock, Laughing Bluebird and the handful of Reading fans who post here, Twatty, no mate, I just won't get rattled by you, you might as well give up. If you come down Saturday I'll be happy to buy you a drink.

Oh, and as a matter of interest, I have no real problem with Dwayne either.

Easy 10 for me, just for the Falmer saxon-colostomy bag article posted earlier.

Posters I like? Don't know any, though Bozza helped me out with ideas for hosting posh.net (cheers) and jonnyboylennon offered to buy me a beer before the Posh game then coveniently suffered a serious wanking injury.

A number of people on here make me 'laff out loud', others are so nice I wish they were my friends, a few post comments that stop me dead in my thought tracks and more than a couple of people have posted something that went whooosh over my head.

But all in all NSC is the best fans community I've come across on the net (so far) and for that everyone deserves a pat on the back - including Dwayne and Watford O, 0, zero

Am I too late to be nominated?

This thread reminds me of Dear Dear Larry (Olivier) and Dear Dear Johnny (Gielgud) off Spitting Image many moons ago:

Larry: "Luvvy, I thought you were simmm-ply marvellous in Hamlet!"

Johnny: "Oh did you, did you really luvvy? And I thought your Bottom was simmmm-ply divine!..."

I like yorkie in a scary mumsie sort of way, NMH for his posts and for recomending echinacia to me, and all the people in DKM's post as I once knew them all in a former life too.

There are lots of others too but I can't remember just this moment
