You currently have £275.67 riding on Conti at 9/2,which would return you £1516.18...not point in laying the horse, as your liability even at £50 would be more than you have riding on the bet, if you laid him at 5/1. Personally I think I would either have a ton on, Bob's and Sir De Champs or just watch and pray. For what it's worth Nichols horses so far have looked a bit out of sorts and Conti has never been up the hill. Still nice to be in that position, at least it will get your blood pumping on Friday afternoon.

Have laid it a bit on betfair and have a big bet on Sir Des Champs and smaller bets on Long Run and Bob's Worth. It means that:
S Conti Wins £900
Sir Des Champs Wins £450
Long Run Wins £80
Bob's Worth Wins £40
Any other winner Lose my stake of £25

I love beating the bookies. Coral had some great offers which killed their site.

First two days you got ten quid cash back if bet ten on first race. They changed on thurs to free bet.

I won two of the first races of the day and obviously won on sprinter sacre and now also bobsworth.
