In a pile of football shirts
I thought carefully about this one, I think it’s possibly the second best compilation album ever. On its release it committed me to listening to all of Bowies back catalogue and cemented him as one of my all time favourite artists.

Now this is a great album and shockingly celebrating 40 years old. They were relatively unknown at the this point but it was obviously big things awaited them. A few of us on here saw them low down on the bill at Queen at Wembley.

Sorry if I've missed it elsewhere, but if that's the second best compilation what's the best in your view?
For me it’s this one, came out around 1981 and brilliantly captured punk rock in all its guises up until then.
