Cheers for that. I've just got my youngest out of nappies after spending a fortune on Pampers for her and her two brothers over the past 6 years...

Damn.

When Surrey Jim Jnr was born we got all the free samples we could from Pampers etc. Not to say they were bad, but I wouldnt pay the price difference between Pampers and Aldi, the product is no better.

One brand (think it was Sainsburys) got a free sample of 6nappies. Of those two of them leaked and another the velcro would not stick properly.

Aldi is ok but I do prefer LIDL.

Don't have an Aldi near enough to compare but Lidl is fine by me. Their ob rich tea biscuits are nearly 1/4 the price of McVities, similarly their multi seeded wholemeal bread is cheaper and tastier than Hovis. Nowt wrong with Lidl.

Talking to a stranger in Aldi seems like a brave (but somewhat foolish) move, especially if it was the London Road one.
