Northampton Town have placed caretaker manager Richard Hill on gardening leave - after just one match in charge.

Hill was at the helm on Saturday after the dismissal of Martin Wilkinson, when the Cobblers were thrashed 5-1 at Sixfields by Hull City.

Mark Kearney and Jim Blyth will take over the running of the team.

Meanwhile, the club have interviewed applicants for the manager's role and expect to make an announcement later in the week.

Well we've had 5 I think just this season so far!

Pardew - 6 games
Coppell - 4 games
Dillon - 4 games
Hammond - 1 game
McDermott - 1 game

Anyone know what the record is for one club in one season?
