[Albion] Positives from Arsenal away today

The baiting of Tai from Arsenal fan TV was top class. Some of our players were ok too

Another game where RDZ can’t play his preferred back 4 system because we have no frigging quality fullbacks fit. If this forces the recruitment team into action in a few weeks, then that’ll be a positive.
It is incredibly unfortunate that Veltman is now injured too - hopefully it’s only a minor sprain because he was walking around - but still - we are now relying on an 18 year old academy player and the unusual confidence of another young player still bedding into the side to keep our back line together - not good when up against one of the best wingers in the world - Webster and Veltman hopefully back for Spurs, Pervis and Lamptey hopefully back by end of January.

Positives though

  • Dunk, Verbruggen and Van Hecke were superb in absorbing as much attacking play as they did for 75% of the match - again Van Hecke coming up with some last ditch defending on the goal line.
  • Hinshelwood had another chance to build towards a 90min fitness level as did Buonanotte.
  • We made the top team in the PL work for a result right up to deep into the second half.
  • We didn’t slack or looked defeated for one second but fought to the end
  • We played with balls

We would still be above Everton (by a GD of +1), even if they hadn’t been deducted points. Am I doing this right?
