I understand not admitting unnecessary people because of COVID but can’t see why we would bother with the rest. Who cares?

Obviously a reason, it’s happened before when we had mid-season behind closed door friendlies. Perhaps more of a fitness thing than taking much from it

Wasnt on the sidelines he was in goal. The ref sent off Maty Ryan for trying to gain an unfair advantage.:lolol:

Didn’t matter, we didn’t need a ‘keeper for this one.

Player Ratings

First half
Ryan - 6 - distribution off and too short. Needs competition
Lamptey - 9 - left back couldn’t cope with his pace
Dunk - 8 - Captain fantastic
Webster - 7 - very solid except for THAT error
Burn - 6 - not very good in the air for a big man
Stephens - 6 - sideways, sideways, backwards never forwards
Lallana - 7 - good before the injury. Hope it’s not too serious
Mooy - 6 - too slow
Gross - 5 - even slower
MacAllister - 5 - Off the pace. Will get better, eventually...
Maupay - 7 - great finish for the goal

Second half
Walton - 6 - too tall
Veltman - 6 - wimp. Needs to toughen up if he wants to make it in England
White - 4 - clearly wants away
Duffy - 5 - can’t play Potterball
Cochrane 7 - looks a real prospect
Propper - 6 - fantastic hair
Alzate - 8 - the Columbian Zidane
Bissouma - 9 - going to be player of the season
Connolly - 7 - two good goals but League one is about his level
March - 5 - can’t beat a man, can’t cross a ball
Murray - 4 - should have retired in 2015

Sub
Bernado - 5 - a solid two minute cameo

Why bother even trying to rate players, and commenting on their performances, in what was little more than a reaining exercise?

Pointless.

Of course! A behind closed doors fiemndly is all that it was. I know the game was against Portsmouth, but so what? it's all about getting players up to full fitness and trying out new formations etc. nothing more.

You know have been don't you?

Setting aside the nature of the comments/ratings, how do you suppose Skaville managed to watch this ‘behind closed doors’ friendly?! Doh!

I wouldn't be surprised if all those Leeds twitter tits had linked to this post with "see! See! He's Leeds, he want to come to us"

We have done this before when we had someone on trial, to keep the trialist's identity under wraps, can't remember if we ever found out who that was.

Have seen suggestions (possibly from hopeful #twats ) that a couple of our U23 were triallists for their side.

And of course, tweets from The Leeds fans, that the blackout was so the news that White was not involved, could be covered up...

Yes, but what harm does it do to let us know the goalscorers names ?

Top secret trialists are traditionally named as A.Trialist.
