It's £10.50 for the hardcourts - inc of floodlighting.

Im sure we could get a turnout. Just book somewhere for one week and see what happens.

You know it makes sense. We could advertise heavily on NSC.

COME ON THE LADS!

yeah do that, where would we do it?
and we must advertise heavily, see if we could make it a sticky

Portslade is ideal as it is just off the dual carriageway.

Have you considered Burgess Hill?

Indoors is cool too.

This is all very well in theory-but too many people say they will turn up and never do.

However, if we can get the old Portslade going again it would be good.

Following on from last week's discussions about re-starting the weekly 5-a-side, I though it wise to start a new thread to get ideas as to availability and choice of venue / time.

Ideally the slot should be 8-9pm or 9-10pm, with I guess Tuesday being the most appropriate day (as before), but it does clash with Albion matches.

From what we discussed last week the options are:

1. Stanley Deason - only Friday night available (don't know what the surface is like)

2. Portslade - nothing outdoor available on astroturf.

3. Portslade - 9:30 - 10:30 indoor available.

4. Lancing - Outdoor available most nights (nobody has block booked yet) - tarmac tennis courts though.

5. Worthing- following available on the astroturf:

Mon 9:30 - 10:30
Wed 9:30 - 10:30
Thur 9:30 - 10:30
Fri 8:30 - 9:30

If you have a preference please post, plus if you can make it also post. It's going to be pointless trying to get this going again if people can't get to the venue at the chosen time.

Stanley Deason is a good surface, I play pitch Invasion up there every wednesday & its always been pretty good.

Sub Prima.

The company I got sacked from!

We won the last league(bottom one I think) and are in the process of winning the next one whatever that is called.

As a keeper Im quite pleased we have the best defensive record in all divisions!!

Ahh Div 3 boys. Well, if we dont win our next 2 games, which we need to do to be assured of promotion, it looks like we might well be meeting next season.

Hope your team mates dont call you FatBoy because that could get very confusing. We have the origial Fatboy from the Goldstone North Stand in our team.

Yes its a rip off. But we only need six people not 10 or 12.

We only need a point to go up.

Hope we win as half our team is on holiday next week.

They must make a fortune out of pitch invasion.:jester:
