I think Swindon was trying to make the point that as our friend is 18 he is classed as an adult so should pay adult price and not expect consessions! I guess I should end by saying FFS!

But the original poster was only commenting that under the new prices it was costing him £1 more as originally they had "student age" ticket prices but when they reduced the over 21 price they did away with this price. Hardly an issue that required Swindon to jump down his throat.
