Poppadoms or Prawn Crackers

I'm sure many of us will induldge in such great crunchy based snacks from the foreign shores over the Easter break, but which do you prefer?

Prawn Crackers or Poppadoms
You can include all the associated gubbins that come with them

Prawn Crackers are OK, but you normally get them free with a decent sized order, I can either take them or leave them.

Poppadoms imo are a necessity and if the order I place isn't enough to get some free ones thrown in then I buy at least a couple.

So Poppadoms.

Muzzman makes a good point there. If prawn crackers comes free with the order that's great, but I wouldn't actually pay for them. Poppadoms as he quite correctly notes are a necessity and well worth additional expenditure.

Prawn crackers make for a better snack on their own, but with all the sides (esp lime pickle) then popadoms win out.

Poppadoms are so good, I dont know how to spell them. All the additional side bits, make them a treat. Especially some of the mint yoghurts and mango chutney

Prawn crackers always get hoovered down though, especially with a great sweet chilli dip. They also make a tremendous substitute when you run out of pancakes and there is still loads of duck and hoisin sauce left

Anything containing real prawns would make me sick. Which would mean most takeaway ones are grand...

But poppadoms it is because of that.
