Dunno what the new manager whoever he is will make of the state of the squad he inherits.
we have only got 3 half decent players Rehman, Pethick and Carpenter - get your fvcking cheque book out Knight we need 8 more for a team! Well we have currently got in theory (!) 28 first team players !!!??
5 are old crocks who are out for fvck knows how long - Roberts, Blackwell,Pethick, Oatway, Rodger.
3 are out on loan (and have hardly ever had a game for us anyway) - Pitcher,Wilkinson, Hammond.
1 is missing (!!!
) - David Lee (I dunno whats happened to him, he's not listed as injured, hasnt been playing for reserves so is maybe on loan somewhere !?)
So only 19 are fit and with us (!?), that includes 2 kids on loan to us (Rehman & Flitney), 2 are teenagers who have never started a league game in their life (Robinson & Beck).
That leaves 'us' with 15, and of those 6 are unproven kids none of whom have appeared in more than 20 league games (Hinshelwood, McPhee, Piercey,Harding, Virgo & Marney).
That leaves us with 9 fit experienced professionals (not enough for a team!), of those 3 are in their 30s and are either cr*p (Jones) or well past their best (Carpenter (even though i list him as only sorts half decent he is you cant ignore getting on a bit) & Butters).
That leaves us with 6, and 3 of those are very very very average, just about get by in division 2, if we went up we'd have to replace them (Mayo, Hart & Watson).
