I have been assuming for months that Palace would be in the playoffs because of the points they had got on the board early. I don't think many of us really expected the wheels to come off quite so dramatically and for them to be looking over their shoulders nervously at 7th spot.

Doesn't it warm the cockles of the heart...

Those who believed the wheels would fall off as they normally do knew it would eventually happen
