I honestly wouldn't take any of those three - I think we're fine at CB, I don't think Ashdown is any better than our current keepers and Benjani is over the hill and will want a fair bit of dollar, I'd have thought.

ees complicated no?

Benjani - No, to old & cr@p.
Rocha - could do a job as a back up? got player of the season this year for them, but he is 33 so prob last year for him.
Ashdown - Same level as Brez but better than Casper, but I expect we will get a new number 1 in so no point looking at him.

My mate's a Blades fan and reckons he saw Kitson schmoozing with the Directors at their game with Stevenage

The thought of Dave Kitson schmoozing makes me feel quite sick. I'm fully expecting Pompey to clear out all the highly paid players and then sign an ex Premier League striker on 30k a week.

While boring us with tales of how hard done by they are

Ashdown would be an improvement on both Ankergren and Brezovan and be an ideal keeper to contend for the no 1 spot with another signing if we could get him for nothing and sell those two and make a complete clean sweep.
