Poll: The not so Old - The Smiths vs The Cure

As much as I liked the Cure, this surely is a Premiership vs Championship poll. The Smiths were in a different league.

I'm not blaming you or the sun, those backward Aussies are probably just hearing about them now! An amazing decade of House music is about to hit your shores after the introduction of computers to sound production before returning to guitar driven pop music in about 10 years.If your mind isn't addled by the sun by then,it will be after all that.

Still, the Smiths hold a very special place in my heart.So many melodies and Johnny Marr guitar riffs in such a short space of time.They defined all that went after.

Cure for me, couldn't stand the Smiths when they were still going, however about 20 years later I can now appreciate their music. Cure win because I actually bought some of their albums, never did with the Smiths.
